We had tickets to the home preseason opener and thought it would be a great idea to take the girls to the game... Wow that was a long walk over that bridge!! Will not be doing that again this season! Mary Carter could have stayed the whole entire game.. just watching all of the fun things that come along with a NFL game.. Betsy however was entranced with you guessed it... the cheerleaders ( who did not have much on MC kept telling me)  She switched seats as soon as she did not have a clear view of them.. it was really cute.  It was a great time to hanging out with the fam!!!

Fun with the NUNNS

I thought it would be fun to go out to eat and bowling before school really got started!! Another fun thing to do before school got started!! Called Kim and they were in! IT was so much fun.. By the end of the night I could not tell who had more fun bowling on the kiddie lanes...liv and mc or Troy and Sam..  All in all it was great fun!

A Visit to the PINES

We recently took a trip to Brandon with a pit stop in Memphis to see some family.. We had a wonderful visit with Mum mum and Ginger... We had a wonderful lunch at the soda shop with Mum mum ... the girls were trying to be on their best behavior..  Sweet memories with three great grandmothers in one weekend!!! Not many people can say that!!!! We are blessed!

FIRST GRADE!!!!!!

I can not believe that MC has started 1st grade!! She did great on the first day and has loved it! We LOVE our teacher Mrs. Herron and what this year is going to bring!! I don't think MC was ready for the homework though.. Big change from last year but I really think it will be good for her! She also has a great class... she sits right beside one of her favorite people..Brooks... could be trouble!!!

Ballet and Tap Dancing

It has begun!!! Who knows where this road will take us but Betsy has started ballet and tap dancing and could not be more excited! She asked most of last year if she could take and I could not find a school that would let you join after christmas due to the end of the year recital.. So we were patient and now we are addicted! She absolutely loves it and everything that goes with it!! (except for the shuffle in the tap ... which could be a problem... she said it scares her)  She is taking with two friends ( one she absolutely loves from school last year) Madison and Claire..Can not wait until the recital!!! I will hopefully learn to post video by then :)

Ok I took alot of pics at the lake and have a few more that I really like.. although my new goal of taking more pictures of me with the family did not pan out on this trip.. I will keep working on it! (as you can tell sam gets all the good pics :)   

Lake Burton

We were so excited to take a little end of the summer trip to Lake Burton in N. Georgia with

some dear friends... The Whites. We had such a great time. The girls loved being in the boat, tubing, attempting to ski, watching daddy wakeboard, swim off the dock, canoeing and exploring .... It was such a beautiful place to relax and unwind before the craziness of school started back.. Although I had enough in the boat after two days.. I had to sit the third day out and take it easy at the cabin.. Thank you to the Whites for the invite... We had a blast!!!

We had a little celebration for Betsy on her actual birthday (JULY 7th).. We were going to celebrate her birthday with a swim party the following sunday when Mary Carter got home

from Camp MIMI...  This was also the day that we had our ultrasound to find out what our newest addtion would be... as it turned out it was not what Betsy would have loved for her

birthday---a little sister.. It is a BOY!!!!

4th of JULY and Good Friends

We had such a great time at our annual get together with the MOAKS... (we hope it stays a little tradition) Kim and Troy and their crew met us for the parade and then on to the pool.. It was a long day at the pool but the kids had a great time!!
