Wow... is about all I can say! These last two weeks have been a little crazy and a bit of a blur!!!

It all started the week of Thanksgiving.. I took Mary Carter and Betsy in to see the Dr on wednesday to check out their coughs.. turns out Betsy had a sinus infection and MC had a probable sinus infection.. either way they were both put on antibiotics... We stayed home for Thanksgiving thinking a trip to Memphis might be a little much for Charlie.. Had a great time just hanging out as a family.. by Friday Charlie had a definite cold but the nurse told me just to watch for a temp and keep him upright so it did not turn in to an ear infection.. He slowly got worse over the next few days.. and after watching him during the night to monitor his breathing and hearing some wheezing on Tues I took him in. They sent my to Vanderbilt to have him monitored there..He needed deep suction and oxygen when we got there and soon we were told we would be spending the night.. After being stuck in the closet of a room in the observation wing of the ED ... we did not make it to a room until the next day.. He spiked a fever on Thurs and had to have some tests run to rule out infection.. urine, blood and spinal tap.. All in all he had RSV bronchiolitis and we were able to get his O2 levels up and stable by Sat and able to go home.. Missed my girls like crazy and so glad to be home.. Thanks to Deenie and Papa and Mimi and all of the people who took care of us while we were in the hospital!! Thanks for the food, hot showers and most of all prayer! It really carried us through!

My heart had never been so happy as when we drove up to the front of our house and saw two new big sisters jumping for joy to have their little brother home!! They colored a sign that said Welcome home mommy and baby brother (sign was started before they knew the name) with hearts all over it!! It absolutely made my heart sore!! Thank you my sweet girls!!!

We had tickets to the home preseason opener and thought it would be a great idea to take the girls to the game... Wow that was a long walk over that bridge!! Will not be doing that again this season! Mary Carter could have stayed the whole entire game.. just watching all of the fun things that come along with a NFL game.. Betsy however was entranced with you guessed it... the cheerleaders ( who did not have much on MC kept telling me)  She switched seats as soon as she did not have a clear view of them.. it was really cute.  It was a great time to hanging out with the fam!!!

I thought it would be fun to go out to eat and bowling before school really got started!! Another fun thing to do before school got started!! Called Kim and they were in! IT was so much fun.. By the end of the night I could not tell who had more fun bowling on the kiddie lanes...liv and mc or Troy and Sam..  All in all it was great fun!

A Visit to the PINES

We recently took a trip to Brandon with a pit stop in Memphis to see some family.. We had a wonderful visit with Mum mum and Ginger... We had a wonderful lunch at the soda shop with Mum mum ... the girls were trying to be on their best behavior..  Sweet memories with three great grandmothers in one weekend!!! Not many people can say that!!!! We are blessed!

FIRST GRADE!!!!!!

I can not believe that MC has started 1st grade!! She did great on the first day and has loved it! We LOVE our teacher Mrs. Herron and what this year is going to bring!! I don't think MC was ready for the homework though.. Big change from last year but I really think it will be good for her! She also has a great class... she sits right beside one of her favorite people..Brooks... could be trouble!!!
